I am Yusuf Aykin, a designer and researcher based in Detmold. My work includes computer vision for construction robots, parametric design tools, XR prototypes and generative art.

I work with UR and KUKA robots, 3D perception, BIM data and collaborative labeling tools. I also teach workshops on neural networks and computer vision.
Outside the lab, I build parametric façade systems, generative art and small software tools for design automation.
It starts with architecture, then moves through teaching, heritage research, generative art and robotic fabrication.

Built a recursive model of Seljuk muqarnas from photogrammetry data. The work was published in ACM JOCCH and Nexus Network Journal.
